Search for fungi in the Crieff countryside, under bracken, in grass or on trees, at a beautiful time in autumnal Perthshire. Boletes, chanterelles, beefsteak fungus and Chicken of the woods can all be found in the area. Patrick Harding will teach you how to identify the mushrooms, and how to determine which ones are edible.

Making Mosaics

Learn the techniques of cutting and nipping tiles and other ceramic items to create several pieces of mosaic art. Easy 2D Garden Mosaics
Saturday 1st March and Sunday 2nd March 2014

This weekend introduces you to two possible methods of making mosaics for your garden walls and fences, the main project would be a house sign or picture, and the other working on smaller slates which make ideal gifts.
