The Bedrooms where guests for Bed and breakfast stay
Our Purple bedroom has a super-king bed, giving plenty of space as a double
bed, but it could also be used as a two single beds if required. We
have bespoke headboards, designed and made by our friend Allan Craig, in
copper worked in an art nouveau style. The room also has a bed-settee,
making it both our 'honeymoon suite' and our 'family room'. The settee is ideal for relaxing whilst watching the TV, but it also converts to a bed suitable for young children

the window to the views of the mountains beyond and the spectacular
sunsets. From a side window, on a clear day, Drummond Castle can be
glimpsed through the trees. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower,
smartly tiled in green.
Our twin-bedded 'Darjeeling' bedroom overlooks the extensive garden, and the various mosaic sculptures in amongst the flowerbeds.
The sunsets make this room glow with light in
the early evenings. Katy's only ever completed National Trust for
Scotland sampler is on view in this room, before she turned to mosaic!

The 'Yellow and Green' bedroom combines homemaker America with Chinese style. With a fresh colour scheme, the room is light and airy, with embroidered duvet cover, quilted blanked, sampler (not done by Katy), along with Chinese fans and umbrellas and a large ginger jar. The bathroom is very spacious, with large shower, toilet and basin. A floral mosaic in the bathroom complete the decoration.
The ‘Blue and Green’ bedroom was once, quite literally, blue and green. However, it is now a soft yellow and green, but very different from the ‘yellow and green’ bedroom. However, the name has stuck. Furnished with antiques, with an extra long bed, this room is spacious enough to swing a cat – or to take a z-bed or cot. Original prints, photos by Katy, and a mosaic mirror over the wash hand basin make this a distinctive and attractive room. On the plus side, it has a full bath with shower over, albeit in a private bathroom (not ensuite), in a lovely recently refurbished 1930’s bathroom: large grey and yellow glass tiles and full sized bath with shower over; mosaic deco tulips above the bath; tulip stained glass window; window seat and shutters and a marble basin - this bathroom is one to really de-stress in!
